As a designer at Artefact, Julia is passionate about the intersections of design, technology, nature, equity and social responsibility. She believes that designers are facilitators of the future, and the role of the designer is integral to the systems we create and live by. Driven by curiosity, she thrives on simplifying complexities and designing big-impact solutions backed by data and research. For her this means valuing intention and accessibility just as much as a beautiful interface.

Prior to Artefact, Julia worked on digital products in industries across cloud and DevOps, HR, e-commerce, and logistics. She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design with a degree in Graphic Design.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending her weekends outdoors or traveling to new places. Some of her other artistic endeavors include film photography, sewing, embroidery, collaging and creating the perfect Spotify playlist.
