Alyssa Hiler

As the People + Studio Operations Manager at Artefact, Alyssa is the key to morale in the office. She focuses the majority of her time on what makes Artefact so great: the people. While wearing many hats working on the overall employee experience, Alyssa somehow makes wearing a fedora and beret look good together. She is always open to any question, idea or conversation over a cup of coffee (or a beer) on how to continue to make Artefact the best place to work.

Before Artefact, Alyssa was an operations lead at the Pacific Science Center, where she managed guest engagement and successfully fooled everyone into thinking she was a Star Trek fan. After the Pacific Science Center, she made her way to Artefact, where her chatty personality and love for happy hours is really able to shine.

Growing up 5,280 ft. above sea level in Denver, Colorado, Alyssa made the move to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and earn her bachelors in History. When she’s not nerding out every chance she can get by volunteering at local history museums & archives, she spends a good chunk of time mentoring local high school students on how to plan for the future and apply to college. Alyssa spends her free time antiquing, getting outbid on eBay, staying at America’s most haunted hotels, and enjoying all things spooky.
