Emma Nestvold

From big picture elements to delicate details, Emma’s favorite part of being a UX designer is creating moments of delight by making products more innovative, sustainable, and useful.

Before joining Artefact, Emma worked for a mix of companies ranging from small in-house studios to corporate businesses. Included in the mix was an appliance company, so, naturally, she can answer any appliance-related questions you may have. Emma attended Western Washington University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Design with a minor in User Experience, all the while making use of the woodworking shop, plastics lab, and laser cutter.

When not at work, you can find Emma at her painting easel learning new techniques with “help” from her affectionate cat Huckleberry. She also loves exploring off the beaten path while hiking and snowshoeing around the North Cascades.
