Daryl is fascinated by how complex interaction problems can be solved simply with visual and motion design. After graduating from the graphic design program at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, he worked at Microsoft, where he contributed to the visual and motion design language of the Windows operating system. During this time, he focused on how UI could best be optimized for users with touchscreen displays, creating new and natural experiences that best took advantage of full-screen, immersive apps.
Outside of work, Daryl is usually… outside. You can catch him on the hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest any given weekend, tackling some of the toughest Washington can provide. When inside, he’s usually at the bar imbibing with his favorite folks. He loves good whiskey, cheap beer, and all pizza, in that order.
