Artefact was excited to host the first annual All Tech is Human: Seattle summit, gathering more than 150 technologists, designers, policymakers, academics and business leaders from across the country.
The mission? To help co-create a more thoughtful future towards technology. Together, we explored ethics in emerging technology, inclusion and accessibility, the relationship between tech and government, and what it means to design responsibly.
Organized in partnership with the Tech and Society Solutions Lab at Omidyar Network, we look forward to continuing the conversation at All Tech is Human: San Francisco and New York.
Artefact is a proud community partner to Design for America (DFA), a national network of student innovators that work to solve community challenges using design thinking.
Our designers mentor students at our local University of Washington DFA chapter, and host their annual show where students present their design solutions to the community. We also support DFA’s annual national summit gathering current and past DFA members alongside industry professionals and educators to explore, expand, and celebrate community-centered design.
We are excited to continue our support for DFA as it introduces and promotes design thinking to students across the country, shaping the great designers and problem-solvers of tomorrow.
