With a move to a new location, booming business and the launch of a new Artefact brand, a new website was definitely in order, so we came to… well ourselves, to design and develop the new Artefact website. Our goal was to create a really simple yet flexible site that communicates the work we have done, and want to do more of.
Websites typically silo content into distinct areas sometimes creating complex hierarchies of information. Our website has a flat structure based on a tagging system that treats all content types (portfolio pieces, blog entries, people and press) equally. Users can can filter the “river” of content based on search keywords or by clicking on any tags on a card content. For example, click on a designer to see their bio, then link to related projects or blog posts.
All the content is always one-click away.
We hope you like it.
