SEATTLE, WA – (Marketwire – April 28, 2010) – Artefact, a Seattle-based design consultancy, today announced that it has added four staff members to its growing software development and design teams.
Henrik Steen joins Artefact as Development Director and will lead the company’s development strategy. Steen joins Artefact from Disney Internet Group. Prior to working at Disney, Steen managed search page and middleware development at Amazon.com.
Joining Steen on the development team is Senior Web Developer Dave Myron. Myron comes from award-winning design boutique Contentfree where he was co-founder and Technical Director. There he helped companies like T-Mobile and Adidas extend their brand through rich media and interaction.

Additionally, Artefact has added user experience designers Rowland Brown and Ryan Pendlay to its design team.
Brown joins Artefact from Microsoft where he created and shipped updates of Microsoft Xbox 360, Microsoft Zune, Windows Live Games, and Microsoft Live Labs Pivot.
Pendlay comes from Intava, where he designed touch screen-based multimedia software for a variety of retail companies, notably Sprint.
