Holidays are kicking into high gear so before I let loose this week’s a-List entry, I just wanted to wish everyone a wishful, long weekend. Happy Thanksgiving! I’m especially grateful this year for my family’s well being and their lasting health. Let us know what you’re grateful for in the comments!

1000 Megapixels
It’s worth the wait, and the pre-loader is strangely amusing! Explore an incredibly vast canvas of imagery and interaction.

Minority Report by G-Speak
G-speak demonstrates their Minority Report’esque interface using gestures and sensors. MR has been the wet dream for everyone, and it looks like we’re getting closer to it. Personally I’m looking forward to the holographic interface shown in Iron Man.

BCG Measuring Innovation
The Boston Consulting Group has outlined some ways in which businesses today can strategically measure innovation. Turns out, only 43% of businesses actually track and plan for innovation within their culture.

The Magic Wheel
Ridiculously loud, ridiculously.. ridiculous. Any current users want to let us know your experience so far?

PC Magazine Online Only
PC Magazine has gone exclusively online only. Get your free one year subscription. Consider it an early holiday present from us!

Visualizing How The World Views US Elections
It’s interesting because we’re so used to seeing how we view our elections. Instead, you consider how this impacts a global scale. Another food for thought: how much of this is represented by Americans with ties to these other countries? What are the implications?

Microsoft SecondLight
Sort of similar to augmented reality, except information is retrieved and displayed within different objects without the need for a headset. Really impressive stuff coming out of MSR (Cambridge)!

Top 10 Social Networks for Creative Types
For those looking to expand your social and professional networks, this list will definitely get your started on the right track. Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter have been quite influential in WOM marketing.

    Richard,

Thanks for the clarification. I’ve edited the post to reflect the feedback. If you have anymore information regarding the development of Second Light, we’d love to hear more about it! Thanks!
